The Indiana County meet took place at IUP yesterday afternoon.  The meet featured six D6 A teams: United, River Valley, Penns Manor, Purchase Line, West Shamokin, Homer Center and two D7 AA teams: Indiana, Apollo-Ridge.  United placed 2nd in both races, and for the girls team this result is the best United has done, in this meet, since their 2nd place finish in 2009.  The top runners for United were Sophomore Colton Henning (4th Overall) and Sophomore Sarah Marshall (5th Overall).  Henning's finish was the best for a United boy, in this meet, since 2017.  The United Boys had two runners in the top 10; Henning and Matthew Beaver (10th Overall).  This is the first time the United boys finished two in the top ten since 2019. Marshall's finish was the best for a United girl, in this meet, since 2015.  The United girls also had two finish in the top ten; Marshall and Sara Gornick (10th Overall).  This two in the top 10 feat is the first for the United girls since 2015.   Both United teams had 7 runners in the top 25 overall.  The top 3 teams and top 25 individual runners are listed below, and the full results can be found here: 2022 Indiana County Championships
