For the first time in school history, the United Lions are D6 wrestling champions.  United, who was the 4th seed, traveled to Penns Valley and knocked off the #1 seed Penns Valley 32-27 and the #2 seed Huntingdon 33-30.  With the win, United also made more school history for the most wins in a season and will be the first United wrestling team making the PIAA State team tournament.  United is now 19-0, passing the 1991-1992 team in most wins.  The 1991-1992 team was 18-1.  United will wrestle Bellwood-Antis on Monday with a chance to make even more school history.  With a win Monday, this team will be the first ever United wrestling team to go undefeated in the regular season.

United will travel to Hershey on Thursday to compete in the 2023 PIAA State AA Team Championships.  United will wrestle the winner of Saucon Valley (2nd at D11) and Bishop McDevitt (3rd at D3).  Saucon Valley (16-2) and Bishop McDevitt (14-3) will wrestle on Monday time and location TBA.
